- Note: The screw cap is 100% leak-proof and suitable for carrying in a bag to school. The cap with straw is a sensitive mechanism and is leak-proof in 9/10 cases. For in a bag, we recommend using the screw cap.
This bottle has become my constant companion. Whether it's at work, school, or out with friends, it's always by my side. The design keeps my water icy cold for hours, and its durability is impressive. While I wish it was dishwasher-friendly, that's a minor inconvenience compared to its overall performance. The straw cap took a bit of adjustment, but once secured properly, it's a game-changer. The pour cap is equally convenient, although I wish it had a finger handle like the straw. Overall, this bottle is worth every penny and has truly become a part of my daily routine.
Ik ben heel tevreden over de fles! Ik heb hem al enige tijd en ik neem hem overal mee naartoe. Met slapen, werk, school, vriendinnen. Het lukt me om hem een keer per dag minimaal leeg te drinken. Ik drink altijd water met ijs, en ben erg blij met hoelang het duurt voordat het ijs begint te smelten! Altijd koud water. De fles is makkelijk mee te nemen en het voelt gek thuis te laten. Ik vind het jammer dat de fles het niet fijn vind mee met de vaatwasser te gaan maar dat neem ik hem voor lief. De doppen zijn van (stevig) plastic dus die krijgen wel regelmatig een rondje mee.
De riet dop is super, eerst had ik hem net niet goed in de fles vast gezet waardoor ik erg hard aan het rietje moest zuigen zodat er water uit kwam. Even opnieuw er in gedaan en tada, opgelost!
Voor meer verbeteringen met de rietdop; hem vast kunnen klikken om het knoeien helemaal tegen te gaan (zekerder voor in een tas onderweg) maar dan ben ik wel erg kritisch.
De schenkdop gebruik ik ook veel en die vind ik heel fijn! Helemaal top.
Echter wel een con, ik had graag gewild dat de schenkdop dezelfde hengsel voor je vingers had als het rietje. Die is druppelvormig en fijner in de hand om mee te nemen.
De andere dop gebruik ik niet, als ik die gebruik laat ik al het water langs m’n mond lopen omdat de opening van de fles zo groot is, maar ik ben een kluns ook. Had ik ook met mijn oude fles (Mepal 900ml) dus echt mijn probleem.
Ik haal mijn geld zeker uit deze fles en het is een deel van mij geworden, haha. Nooit meer zonder! Kwaliteit is ook echt top notch, complimentjes! Kleur is mooier als op de foto’s ook!
Ik had een flesje van 2 liter gekocht. Ik was er niet zo heel tevreden mee omdat het water niet heel erg lang heet bleef. Ik heb dit per mail laten weten aan VannBottles en binnen een dag werd bij monde van Thijs er op gereageerd. Er zou iets met die fles aan de hand kunnen zijn. Hij stelde voor een andere fles te sturen wat hij dus ook gedaan heeft. Ik heb het gisteren uitgeprobeerd en deze werkt perfect. Me warme thee bleef na 13 uur nog steeds heel warm/heet. Onvoorstelbaar. Ik raad het een ieder aan. En ik wil Thijs ook bedanken voor de snelle en professionele afhandeling. Super!!

During my trip to Costa Rica, I was confronted with beaches full of plastic waste, especially single-use disposable bottles. On one of these beaches, the local community initiated a project to raise awareness. They cleaned up the beach and then created a whale sculpture out of all the plastic bottles they found there.These people and their artwork have led to the start of VANN. I am forever grateful to them.
After my trip to Costa Rica, I embarked on this journey with fresh ideas! The concept was there, and I simply started. We created designs, conducted tests, and eventually arrived at our first product, which we call "The Standard Bottle." It hasn't always been easy, and like any enterprise, VANN has faced its fair share of challenges. For years, I personally packed and shipped all the packages. It was a beautiful and enlightening time that I will never forget! Fortunately, I am no longer the one amidst the boxes. Nowadays, we collaborate with reliable logistics partners who can handle this process in a much more sustainable, efficient, and large-scale manner.
